Travis Fader is the founder of NOEL: EXPERIENCE CHRISTMAS. He studied music at Saginaw Valley University, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University. Travis has orchestrated and written Christmas music including an album recorded at noted Ocean Way Studios with the renowned orchestra, The Nashville String Machine. In addition to writing and arranging music, Travis is an accomplished pianist, directed a 100+ voice choir for 9 years, and co–created a production which drew over 5,000 in annual attendance for its 5 year run.

 

Travis and his wife Hailey, along with their incredibly furry and enthusiastic Keeshond, Phillip, reside in Midland. An expert in Mid–Century Modern architecture, Travis is also a licensed Real Estate Agent specializing in Mid–Mod homes. 

 

Travis’ love for Christmas and the joy it brings is what inspired him to create a show where audiences can experience those feelings. In the coming years, Travis hopes to see NOEL grow to become holiday tradition for our communities and state.

Chairman of the Board

Jim Nichols

Jim is a 1975 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University. He began his career as an Accountant at the Central Foundry Division of General Motors in 1978, worked as Purchasing Agent for Bay County from 1988 until 2002 when he became Purchasing Officer for the City of Saginaw until his retirement in 2017. Among Jim’s professional accomplishments are having facilitated the process of moving Bay County‘s procurement system to a paperless/automated system, and updating and rewriting the City Of Saginaw‘s purchasing ordinance (originally written in 1937).  

 

Jim is a former member Michigan Public Purchasing Officers Association (M.P.P.O.A.), a member of Saginaw First Assembly of God’s Church Board (Secretary) where he also serves on Missions Council, Men’s Ministry Council, and Security Team.  Jim also currently serves as a Board Member (Secretary) of Mid-Michigan Teen Challenge.  

 

Jim and his wife Katrina have been married for 42 years, have two sons and six grandchildren, enjoy gardening and traveling to visit their grandkids in Texas and spending time with family and friends.

Susan Fradette

Director of Operations

Susan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Saginaw State University and served as senior paralegal of The Dow Chemical Company, retiring in 2017 after 30 years of service. She worked in the Office of the Corporate Secretary where she was responsible for project management of Dow’s corporate governance compliance programs, the functions and activities of the Board of Directors and legal reporting requirements for the Company’s Directors and Officers.  Susan’s project management activities included compilation, verification of information and dissemination of the Proxy Statement to each stockholder in conjunction with the Company’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders; stock exchange reporting compliance of all stock holdings and stock transactions of Dow’s Board of Directors and Officers; and development and implementation of global meetings of the Company’s Board of Directors and management.

 

Susan has also volunteered for 14 years with Royal Family KIDS, which ministers to abused and neglected children in the foster care system in the mid-Michigan area. through two summer camps and a school-year mentoring program. In her role as assistant director of the June camp, Susan served as volunteer coordinator and maintained all camp documents to ensure reporting compliance reporting.

Chief Financial Officer

Timothy Lemke

Timothy received his undergraduate degree from North Texas State University in Music Performance, Theory with an Arranging Minor. He holds an MBA in Finance from Northwood University.  A founding member of the Hantz Group, Timothy has been in the Financial Industry for 24 years and played a key a part of building and growing the organization from its inception to its current status.

 

Timothy is an Eagle Scout, Series 24 Compliance Officer, and has served on the United Way of Midland Board for 6 years, the Midland Christian School Board for 3 years, played Baritone Saxophone in the Michigan Jazz Trail Big Band for 5 years, and his church's band for 20 plus years playing saxophone and arranging Christmas songs for Horn Sections for the various Christmas programs. Timothy also serves as a mentor for Calvary Baptist Academy’s First Inspires Robotic program, FLL, jr - FLL - and FRC.

Board Member

Leon beaudin

Leon studied music and business management at Saginaw Valley College, worked in hotel management Holiday Inn and then Ramada Inn for 8 years in charge of the general management of the hotel, campground, and other areas of the resort including over 200 employees.

 

Leon then became full time Worship Pastor at Christian Celebration Center where for 31 years he directed the music department which included 100 voice choir, band, children’s choir and major musical productions such as The Singing Christmas Tree held at the Midland Center For The Arts for 19 years, The Easter Passion Play for 26 years, and Sing Noel for 5 years.  

 

Leon is currently serving at Saginaw First Assembly Of God as Executive Pastor and has served on various committees of the Midland Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Committee for Billy Graham Crusade Association. He also worked as a teacher at Valley Bible Institute in Saginaw for 5 years. 

 

Leon has lived in the Tri City Area for most of his life and been involved in music since the age of 11. He enjoys playing the organ and piano for church as well and a few major musical productions which included Bay City Players and Midland Center For The Arts.

 

He currently lives in Bay City after living in the Midland area for more than 30 years, and can frequently be found walking the river walk with his famous English Bulldog Charlie (an uptown regular), or biking on the Bay City’s rail trails.

HEIDI GARCIA

Heidi attended Northwood University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  She has worked for Nexteer Automotive (formerly Delphi Steering) for the past 22 years where she currently is a Sales Analyst serving as a customer tooling rebill sales expert.  Heidi has vast experience and expertise in leading sales account management, production planning, customer service and supplier label compliance.  Her project management experience includes collaborating workflow with cross-functional teams, providing sales administration leadership on global process initiatives and mapping roles and competencies, and providing compliance consultation to Nexteer’s global plants.  


Heidi and her husband Pete reside in Saginaw with their children, Savannah and Gavan. They are both in travel soccer which keeps Heidi busy. She also volunteers as the Women’s Coordinator at her local church in Saginaw.

Jacob spence

Jacob is a graduate of Northwood University with a degree in Business Administration. He is founder and owner of Creation Coffee, a rapidly growing coffee roasting business with both private and commercial customers across the eastern United States.

 

Jacob has been nominated for the Midland Young Professionals Young Entrepreneur of the year, the Ruby Award and the Midland Business Alliance Entrepreneur of the Year and is a member of the Midland Business Alliance, Midland Young Professionals, and Saginaw First Assembly Choir.

Regan wieland

Regan attended General Motors Institute (now Kettering University), graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Materials Science. He worked for General Motors in Advanced Product Engineering before moving to The Dow Chemical Company’s Central Research Materials Science Laboratory in 1981. In 1985 he moved to the Engineering Thermoplastics Technical Service & Development Department, leaving Dow in 1991 to serve as CFO of the family plywood business, Plyforms, Inc.

 

Over a period of 30 years in addition to his professional duties at Dow and Plyforms, Regan worked in lighting design for Christmas and Easter productions both at church and The Midland Center For The Arts, and did both the design and installation of theatrical lighting systems. In addition to lighting design, he served as Stage Manager and Production Manager for The Singing Christmas Tree and Easter Passion Plays for 25 years, at times performing on stage as well as working backstage.

 

Regan and his wife Tamara have been married for 39 years, have two incredible daughters and sons–in–law, two equally incredible grandkids, and reside in Midland with their two Pomeranians. They have been known to disappear and go sailing in either the Great Lakes or the Virgin Islands whenever possible.
